Family Primary Care
Preventive care, chronic disease management, and everyday medical needs for adults and older adults — the foundation of everything we do, delivered without the assembly-line feeling.
Learn moreWhole-person primary care for adults and older adults, from a dual board-certified nurse practitioner with over 30 years of healthcare experience — certified in both family practice and psychiatry, which means your mental health is cared for in the same visit, by the same clinician.
Ann Bacher's path to whole-person care didn't start in a clinic. It started in the Marine Corps, moved through the controlled chaos of emergency rooms, and settled — deliberately — into the slower, harder work of caring for the whole person over time.
After two decades in nursing, she pursued dual board certification as both a Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner because she kept seeing the same thing: patients whose bodies and minds were being treated by different people who never spoke to each other. She built The Balanced Wellness to close that gap.
Today her practice centers on primary care for adults and our older population — people managing complex medications, families who need one clinician who sees the whole picture, and patients tired of being treated as a collection of separate problems.
— Rooted, steady, and easy to talk to.
